An appraisal is more than just knowing what your jewelry is worth—it is about protecting your investment, understanding its value, and honoring the craftsmanship that went into creating it. At BOZ, we offer professional jewelry appraisals to help our clients feel confident about their treasured pieces.
Why Appraisal Matters
An appraisal provides an official statement of your jewelry’s quality and value. It is useful for insurance coverage, resale considerations, or simply for peace of mind in knowing the worth of your jewelry.
What We Evaluate
When you request an appraisal through BOZ, our experts carefully assess:
• Metals – Purity of gold or platinum used in the piece
• Diamonds and Gemstones – Quality, cut, clarity, carat weight, and certification if applicable
• Craftsmanship – Design, artistry, and condition of the piece
• Current Market Value – Evaluation of resale and replacement value based on today’s global market
How to Begin Your Appraisal
1. Contact Us – Reach out to the BOZ team through our official channels to request an appraisal.
2. Bring or Send Your Jewelry – Pieces must be inspected in person so we can provide an accurate assessment.
3. Professional Evaluation – Our experts will document all details and prepare a professional appraisal report.
4. Receive Your Report – You will receive an official BOZ appraisal document outlining the specifications and value of your jewelry.
Important Notes
• BOZ appraisals are conducted on pieces made by us as well as selected fine jewelry pieces from outside sources.
• The appraisal provides current value, but resale is always subject to market demand.
• For BOZ jewelry in excellent condition, we can also support you in putting it up for resale if desired, though a sale is not guaranteed.
The BOZ Standard
Getting your jewelry appraised by BOZ means more than numbers on a page. It means having experts who understand both the market and the artistry of fine jewelry. We ensure that every appraisal reflects not only material worth but also the craftsmanship and legacy behind your piece.
